Honey

Take a teaspoon of honey made by bees with each meal to relieve Hay Fever.


Soothe the discomfort of arthritis and rheumatism by applying a warm honey pack. To prepare- heat 1 cup water until warm, wring out a soft cloth in this mixture and apply to the hurting joint.

Ease the discomfort of arthritis by sipping a cup of warm willow tea sweetened with honey, before bed.

Eat some honey each day to have a strong heart and a quick mind well into old age.

For nearly instant energy, eat a tablespoon of honey.

Wipe down a new injury, 3 times a day with honey and it will not become infected.

Take the pain from a bee sting or the itch from mosquito bites by covering them with honey.

Dry chapped hands may be healed by rubbing them with honey each morning and evening. Leave on for 3 minutes, rinse and dry throughly.

Fight cold sores by dabbing them every few hours with undiluted honey. Dark honey is best.

Soothe nighttime leg cramps by taking 1 teaspoon clover honey at bedtime.


Garlic

To make a very strong tonic, peel and mince one whole garlic bulb. Cover with 2 cups of water, and boil for 3 minutes. Use full strength on plants to repel insects.

Treat cat and dog fleas by wetting them down with full strength garlic tonic.

Cut a clove of garlic in half and one piece on each side of a tooth that is aching. This also helps to tighten loose teeth.

Soak peeled garlic cloves in honey for 24 hours. Use 2 tsp of this honey to relieve cough and colds.

Rub a corn with a cut garlic clove, being careful not to touch healthy skin. Repeat daily until the corn falls off.

To remedy athlete's foot, wash the foot in hot water (soapy) then rub with garlic oil.

Ease an earache by dropping in a few drops of warm olive oil that has had a peeled clove of garlic in it. The clove needs to soak in the oil for 24 hours.

For hoarseness, eat a grated clove of garlic before each meal, followed by 1 Tbsp. honey. This is also helpful for laryngitis.

Vinegar

Simmer 1/4 cup vinegar in a pot of water, uncovered, to clear the air of lingering cooking odors. Add 2 tsp of cinnamon to make it extra special.

2 cup vinegar in dish washing water cuts grease and lets you use less soap.

Combine 1/4 cup liquid soap, 2 cup vinegar, and 2 gallons of water to make a great floor cleaner.

Nail polish will go on smoother and stay on longer if you first clean fingernails with vinegar before applying polish.

Car chrome shines up fast if polished with vinegar.

2 tablespoons of baking soda, followed by 1 cup of vinegar down your drain will clear clogs and keep them fresh smelling.‚
